A few more reminders!

Good afternoon!  Please remember that this Friday, September 14, is a 1:00 Early Release Day.  There will be NO hot lunch on Early Release Days.  Also, there is no school this Monday, September 17.

The following is information from Mr. Keer about the construction that will be taking place near Indian Trail:

Road Work at St. Johns & Elm Place:
The intersection of Saint Johns Ave, & Elm Road is targeted to be closed as of Monday September 17th, with work starting on the 18th.  The city is projecting a week for the intersection to be closed.  The full project completion is targeted for the end of September.  Even when it is "opened" we would expect delays based on traffic pattern impact for single lane closures for cement, curb & gutter, and weather.

Indian Trail buses still can enter on Saint Johns Ave. and leave on to Sheridan as usual, their access to the school will have to come from Vine.  Parents and Staff also will have the same in / out of the South parking lot but again their only access to the school is from Vine.

Here is another announcement from Mrs. Lucci regarding fundraising:

Music Ensemble Fundraiser this Friday!

A group of 33 of our fifth grade students have been selected for a very special opportunity--in November they are going to be performing at a national music education conference held in St. Louis!  In order for the ensemble to sound as great as possible, we are hoping to upgrade a few of our older, more worn out instruments for them to take to the performance.  (Then after the performance is over, everyone at our school will be able to use the new, high-quality sounding instruments during music class!)

Please support the Tiger Tales Ensemble fundraiser this Friday as the ensemble sells Smencils (smelly + pencil = Smencil!) during lunch and after school on the playground.  Smencils will be sold 1 for $3 or 2 for $5.  (Or, feel free to make forego the smencils and contribute any amount that will help us reach our $2,600 goal!)  Thank you so much for your support!!

Have a great day!

A Note from Mrs. Lucci

Bake Sale--Friday After School!

Please support the Tiger Tales Ensemble bake sale tomorrow (Friday) after school on the playground.  All treats will be sold for a suggested donation of $1 but any amount that will help us reach our $2,600 goal is greatly appreciated!

Student Practice!

Let's try and post a comment.  Can you do it?
